PURPOSE

Brandon House launched the Raising the Bar for the ARts Capital Campaign in 2020 to raise the necessary funds to repurpose and renovate a facility into a state of the art career and workforce development center that will support the creative talents of artists and musicians and strengthen the career and technical skills of underrepresented youth who are the next generation workforce. The ultimate result of Raising the Bar for the ARts:

  1. Increases the target audience and capacity for Brandon House to serve over 3,000 potential constituents annually of underserved and underrepresented students, aspiring artists, creative professionals, and musicians.
  2.  Enables Brandon House to address gaps in arts-based services and programming that would help to develop 21st century workforce skills within Arkansas youth and young adults and increase their earning potential to contribute to Arkansas’ creative economy.
  3. Allows Brandon House is to house small business incubation services and resources to small arts-based businesses.
  4. Allows Arkansas to become more competitive because of the greater investment in a prepared workforce among the next generation of creative professionals, artists and musicians through intentional programs and opportunities.

PROGRESS

Since the start of the campaign, Brandon House has raised over $1 million in grant and private funding to relocate from our humble beginnings at 3802 w. 12th Street, Little Rock to Bowman Plaza located at 12120 Colonel Glenn Road, Plaza II, Little Rock, AR. Through this campaign we have met at least half of our financial goals, and have completed Phase I and Phase II of our renovation plans. Watch the video below to see our progress after beginning the campaign.
